That’s why we consult with you to discover your sense of style and your wellness objectives before taking your plans or dimensions to create a custom sauna design as unique as you are. Whilst being truly custom, Aegean take a different approach to many, creating insulated panel sauna kits for easy on-site assembly. The structure of the sauna is handcrafted in our factory and finished with an interior design that expresses your style. Typically, sauna companies work with Pine or Red Cedar interiors but in our quest to offer the widest range of sauna interiors to the UK market, Aegean regularly work with other woods such as Hemlock and Thermowood and other materials including stone and Corian. Furthermore, we collaborate with Helo to offer even more unique sauna interiors to our customers.
As the world’s largest sauna company, it’s no surprise that Helo produce stunning sauna interiors. Helo’s custom philosophy mirrors our own, proudly announcing “If you can design it, we can build it.” The use of curves, glass features, lighting, unique door designs and choice of sauna heater can all come together to deliver a truly special custom sauna design. Partnering with Helo adds some beautiful and exciting wood finishes to our range including Taika panelling and Tulip wood. Helo interiors are built to our specifications and delivered to our factory where they are turned into panel ready sauna kits by our expert sauna craftsmen. Taika
The Taika wall panel range is available in a black, grey, white or natural wood tone and can be ordered in 180mm wide long boards or 180mm x 600mm / 360mm x 600mm squares. The Taika range is ideally suited to contemporary wellness spaces. Contrasting Aspen or Tulip benches complement these panels to produce a premium aesthetic.
Tulip Wood
A member of the magnolia family, tulip wood is a truly premium wood in the sauna market and can be used both for wall panels and benches. Heat treated, this wood has a warm and dark aesthetic and conveys a real sense of luxury. Warm lighting reflects off Tulip wood to produce one of the most relaxing environments we have felt in a sauna.
